S'pore Mint launches commemorative coins to celebrate royal birth
The Singapore Mint has launched the limited edition Royal Birth commemorative coins, in celebration of the birth of the first child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Prince George was born on July 22, 2013.
The commemorative coins are exclusively minted by The Royal Mint and launched locally by The Singapore Mint.
The commemorative coins are available in two distinctive designs and collections -- the 2013 UK £1 925 BU Coin and the St George and the Dragon UK £5 925 Silver Proof Coin. Both collections can be purchased individually.
The Singapore Mint said there are only 10,000 pieces minted for each collection.
The Royal Birth Coins are available for order now on the Singapore Mint's website and will be available at its retail outlets at the end of September.
